The VR exposition showcases some of the projects by Konrad Mihat from coVR Videos that explore panoramic video’s possibilities in therapeutic settings.
Danstopic Panoramic, 2021, exposes the experience of an interrogation of dance and suggests a way for the audience to access their own bodies.
Amniotic Arthera(pi), 2023, Is an artistic interpretation regarding amniotic therapy that tries to convey in words and feeling the interior and exterior processes of this therapeutic method, aimed mainly for battling psychosis, but with therapeutic effects for any participant.
Konrad Mihat is a visual media creator specializing in panoramic photography and video. He studied film production at Babeș-Bolyai University and co-directed a short film in 2008. He co-founded Calup in 2012, focusing on urban regeneration through cultural events. In 2017, he founded coVR Videos, creating panoramic video for VR headsets and media installations. In 2021, he directed Danstopic Panoramic, a panoramic dance film for VR headsets, and explored the therapeutic potential of panoramic video with Loredana Larionescu.
